Class Guidelines

* Instructors are here for you and are happy to answer questions and provide modifications.

* You are encouraged to bring a water bottle to class and to keep yourself hydrated.

* You know your body best - go at your own pace.

* In consideration of others, please refrain from wearing perfume or cologne.

Please Note:

The class schedule is modified periodically to address member feedback and participation levels. Classes with low participation, averaging less than 8 over a three month period are subject to cancellation.

 

Class descriptions

 

Basic Step & Weights

Simple movements in step choreography, adding in intervals to boost your heart rate and build cardiovascular strength.

Basic Weights & Cardio

A complete, total body, resistance training class, filled with functional fitness moves and an abdominal focus throughout. This class is designed to be a total body workout that will help your body and make you healthier.  Each instructor has a different focus so try them all. 

Cardio Kickboxing

This class is designed for the beginner and intermediate participant. Have fun kicking yourself into the best shape of your life. 

Circuit Training       

This class mixes cardio with weights for the most efficient use of your time. 1 minute of weights followed by 1 minute of cardio. 

Energizer Zone                            

A cardio plus resistance training circuit class led by a certified personal trainer.  Designed to educate and motivate you thru one hour of fitness fun. 

Mid-Tempo Aerobics                 

A fun Hi/Low aerobics class with lots of basic moves. Includes body sculpting and abdominals. 

Muscle Conditioning

This class may incorporate bars, dumbbells, and tubing to provide a workout to strengthen your muscles, build bone density and help speed your metabolism! 

Pilates Mat

A mind/body mat workout designed to uniformly develop the whole body from the inside out. The exercises stretch & strengthen the abdominal/back muscles. 

Power Yoga

Same Yoga principals with a little less relaxation.  This class will kick up your workouts another notch.

Step it Up

Step choreography and high energy are the foundation of this class. New to step? Class can easily be modified for all levels. 

Sunrise Wake-up 

An energizing combination of hi/low impact, bench, or circuit training that’s guaranteed to rev up your day.

Ultimate Abs

This class is exactly what it says, abs and only abs.  This is 30-minutes of continues intermediate ab exercises.  You control the pace so it’s great for beginners and advance participants. 

Yoga    

Lengthen, strengthen, and relieve stress the yoga way.  You’ll love this class! It’s active, relaxing and fun! Give it a try. 

ZUMBA

This is the workout taking the world by storm! Is it a workout or a party?
